Baby Time

My sister and sister-in-law have both decided to have babies this year. One is due in May and the other in July. Let the knitting and crocheting begin.

I have been knitting like a fiend trying to get enough done to show how happy I am for them without overwhelming myself. I have to do two of everything of course, and they have to be in different colors so they don't get mixed up.

Still, I'm thrilled at the prospect of being an Aunt. Children are so much fun when you can send them home just as they are getting cranky. I get to play with them and give them sugar and toys. Then, just as they are ready for nap time, I get to send them off to their parents' house. Hooray!

I have posted a picture of the bunting I plan to do for both. I found it on the Lion Brand website. It is a beautiful pattern, and I hope I can get them done in time. I have already finished one of the blankets and two stuffed animals. It is great fun making projects for little ones.
